Following the guidelines set by the European Commission EACEA Agency – which is co-financing our project through the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, IYE-LABS activities that are not compatible with the guidelines set by national authorities of partner countries will be suspended.
Therefore, we will not be able to carry out the planned face-to-face activities during the upcoming months until the situation returns to normal, either in relation to the planned practical projects of local orientation for our young participants (which were foreseen between March-June 2020), to the follow-up meetings for our volunteers and to the planned actions in the field of political advocacy with local authorities.
Nevertheless, IYE-LABS partnered organisations remain totally commited to our project for social volunteering. We will keep those activities that could be performed online and all the coordination tasks done by our project coordinator (Xul Foundation) and the other partnered organisations (InCo Association, Dinamik Development, Impact Hub Zagreb, garagErasmus ASBL, Out of the Box International and Plataforma del Voluntariado de España).
Partnered organisations remain at disposal of associate partners and contributors at a local and international level and of any young person wishing to receive more information about our social innovation lab and people wishing to join us as soon as things are back to normality.
You can find additional information on the situation on the Commission website and on the website of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
