The call is open for applications tackling challenges under Priority 1 Innovative societies, Priority 2 Water-smart societies, and Priority 3 Climate-neutral societies. The Programme is particularly looking for projects supporting the cohesive development of small places, rural areas, and areas experiencing challenges significant to the social and economic fabric of their local communities within the Baltic Sea region.
Who can apply? Public and private organisations from eleven countries around the Baltic Sea, including EU Member States and partner countries
What is funded? Smaller-scale, fast-track cooperation actions with a budget of up to €500,000.
Purpose: Ideal for piloting ideas, starting collaborations, or addressing targeted issues with focused interventions.
Duration: The duration of a small project consists of three phases: the contracting phase that usually lasts three months, the implementation phase that may last up to 24 months, and the closure phase lasting three months
The programme strongly encourages the inclusion of newcomers and promotes results that contribute to EU policy objectives and regional strategies.
