
‘Let’s participate – European citizenship in practice’ educational workshops, debates and meetings took place in the 5 countries of the consortium between April and June 2024. These activities aimed to give a better understanding of the workings of the EU and the mechanisms that can enable citizens to intervene (at different levels) in the process of creating and deciding on European policies.
In Belgium, VIVES University of Applied Sciences organised four events bringing together 114 participants.
In Croatia, Forum Za Slobodu Odgoja-FSO organised a total of six meetings reaching 78 individuals in several locations, mainly teachers, headmasters and professional staff in elementary and secondary schools.
In France, Pistes Solidaires organised five meetings aimed at involving a variety of audiences and fostering their connection with the European Union’s democratic processes reaching 97 people.
In Greece, six events were organised by the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in several towns, where 163 citizens from a variety of backgrounds (civil servants, representatives of institutions, students, professionals, private sector employees, etc.) took part in the activities.
In Italy, two events were organised by CESIE, one involving students and another involving adults and over 60 years old individuals in an EUNITE event gathering a total of 89 people.
