Starting on 8th February 2022, the Interreg Baltic Sea Region is inviting applicants to develop and submit proposals for small and core projects. For small projects, the deadline for submitting the Project Idea Form is 9th March, and for core projects, the deadline is 15th March 2022.
While core projects demand practical and durable solutions and their implementation can last up to 36 months, small projects are aimed at increasing the capacity building of the target groups, they can last up to 24 months and their budget is maximum EUR 500,000. For more information about the types of projects, the application process and documents, you can visit the gateway for applicants.
The current 2021/27 programme is structured around four priorities:
(1) innovative societies,
(2) water-smart societies,
(3) climate-neutral societies, and
(4) cooperation governance.
To help applicants better understand the programme objectives and the budget preparation, the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat has prepared a series of videos. You can access those resources in the ‘tutorials’ section of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region website. And if you need ideas for your project, you can also check the outputs from the 2014/20 programme.
