Disinformation is changing fast. AI-generated content is becoming more convincing, algorithms increasingly shape what we see online, and distinguishing reliable information from manipulation is becoming more difficult.
So, what does this mean for education – and are educators ready?
On 29 September 2026, TackleDisInfo is bringing educators, researchers, civil society representatives and policymakers together in Brussels for its Final Conference: “Who Still Believes What?”
The event will mark the conclusion of the Erasmus+ TackleDisInfo project, while opening a broader conversation about the future of digital literacy, critical thinking and democratic resilience in the age of AI.
What to expect
Participants will discover the main TackleDisInfo results and resources, see a live demonstration of the gamified platform, join the expert panel “Digital Literacy in the AI Era – Are Educators Ready?”, and continue the discussion during networking and post-summer drinks.
Expert Panel: Digital Literacy in the AI Era – Are Educators Ready?
The panel will explore how AI-generated content, algorithms and new forms of manipulation are changing digital literacy and democratic resilience.
Jelena Spasovic, General Manager of CONNECT International, and Luc Steinberg, Co-founder of ALT-TEXT, will bring perspectives from digital rights, media literacy, AI policy and European civil society.
