Hello Palermo!
The project gathered 35 amazing young people, activists, youth workers, storytellers and experts on innovative storytelling methods for reconciliation from Bosnia, Belgium, Italy, Albania, Serbia, Poland and Montenegro from February 1st to 6th in Palermo for EUCARES – international training.
The week was dedicated to testing storytelling techniques identified in the research phase. Trauma, social inclusion, and the healing process topics were addressed through creative workshops including art, theatre, photography, and exchange.
During the training, we tested the E-toolkit with an Operational Curriculum with the participants who gave us their valuable inputs and perspectives. E- Toolkit will be a database of resources, tips and guidance for youth workers and youth organizations on how to apply the method of storytelling and the different techniques for reconciliation, conflict transformation and social integration.
We will let you know when it is done 😊
The next phase is the implementation of local workshops in 7 countries in Europe.
Stay tuned!
