“Promotion of Inclusive Youth Environments Through Testing Innovative Experiences for Social Labs for Volunteering” (IYELABs)
IYELABs is a transnational cooperation partnership that allows a group of stakeholders from youth, volunteering and social inclusion backgrounds to collaborate on a project aimed to foster inclusive youth environments by implementing innovative and participative practices through the development of social labs model as non-formal learning activities, addressed towards the improvement of young people’s skills in the areas of civic participation and volunteering.
IYELABs projects has been designed to tackle the following issues:
- Lack of civil participation attitude among young people;
- Lack of youth involvement in local community as well as third sector organisations;
- Inequality and poverty, exclusion and discrimination that affects young people from disadvantaged groups.
The project consortium of partners was built from 7 organisations from 5 countries (Spain, Italy, Croatia, Turkey and Belgium), each bringing to the partnership the essential transnationality and skills to allow for the replication of selected best practices at a broader level in order to address the first general objective of the call related to the dissemination/scaling up of good practices within youth environments.
The project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.
